BT location tracking based on signal strength(RSSI)

Now that we have the BT as a component in HASS I would love to have a feature that could calculate your location based on the BT signal strengt

Does this fulfill this feature request? Was added in 0.27.

Let me know if it doesn’t, will unmark this as solved.

I don’t think this is what he means? I think he means you use the signal strength of the Bluetooth signal to simulate something like FIND, so you can learn HASS where you are in your house depending on the signal strength

I’m unsure if the gattlib returns the RSSI of a beacon but if not maybe there could be a separate sensor component that returns the RSSI of nearby BT_LE devices?
