BT scan interval on HA

I am using home assistant 2023.11.3 docker and recently updated ubuntu 22.04 kernel from 5.5 to 6.2.0-37 in hope of resolving USB devices going unresponsive.
I noticed that now my BTHome and iBeacon devices update very slow. Usually entities were being updated every 15 seconds but now it might take 10 minutes.
If I reload Bluetooth, BT-Home or iBeacon integration, devices get updated instantiously. My guess is this has to do with passive Bluetooth scanning on the new ubuntu kernel. Home assistant’s Bluetooth integration probably relies on the underlying OS to run Bluetooth scan hence the slow update. Wondering if is there a way to run

Bluetoothctl scan on

more frequent via home assistant?
I am seeing following in HA logs

2023-11-27 20:45:11.489 INFO (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.bluetooth.scanner] hci0 (00:16:EB:61:2D:2F): Bluetooth scanner has gone quiet for 90s, restarting
