[Bug] Cannot change connection details after connection failure

Whenever the connection to my HA server fails, the connection settings screen comes up. The problem is, once I correct the information, there’s no way to dismiss this screen in this context – there’s no “close” or “apply” button.

This has happened to me several times – when I’ve changed my HA password, and most recently when I switched my server to https. In the past, I was able to delete the app and reinstall it (from TestFlight) to “reset” it and allow me to enter the connection details and save them. Now, however, I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled it, and it still pulls up the settings screen with my old details and doesn’t give me any way to save the new ones. So as of now, I can’t use the app at all.

Currently experiencing this on 1.0 (51).

One way to “reset” the app is to install the iOS 10.3 beta. I have the same problem…

Interesting…but no  I’m not installing a beta OS on my only phone.

@robbiet480 Any chance of getting a fix for this? Would really like to use the app again.

Bump…I guess I’m going back to something else for presence tracking. This was by far the most reliable option in terms of keeping the server up to date, but I can’t get the damn config to save. Looking forward to when this bug is fixed.

For me I can get it to actually connect by starting hass and then force closing the app and then restarting it.
