Got a new Intel NUC 12th generation i5, old one was very old.
Backed up the old box using HA → System → Bacup. Installed HAOS on new computer. Logged in. Did restore. Everything was perfect. Changes static IP of new box back to match the old. Made sure I got the new MAC address for the router’s reserved IP page. Very impressive. So important that we have reliable backups.
A while later, my Google Drive Backup add-on threw an error. Took a look. Referenced the HA storage.
Went to System → Storage and the Network Storage entry that used to point to my Synology NAS via Samba was missing. No problem, I re-added it.
Anyway, wondering if this was by design, or a bug.
