Build in Pi-Hole sensors not showing

HI All
I currently have a setup where I use 2 raspberry pi as pi-hole blockers. My older Pi B+ is the primary, whilst my Pi3+ is running home assistant with the Pi-Hole add-on… Now I had this setup running for a while without issue,
I would monitor both of the servers, using the pi-hole sensor…

However over the past few weeks, it appears that the sensor for the built in pi-hole doesn’t get detected during a reboot, and therefore the sensors don’t show up in home assistant…

The funny thing is if I go to the add-on, and open the web page, it looks like it is working as intended.

I have a feeling it might be that it hasn’t loaded in time before the sensors pick it up…
Is there a way to force the sensors to try and pick it up again…

Thanks a lot

Thats actually something i am interested in as well. Currently this seems standard behaviour for a lot of sensors. If they are not detected during startup it will not try again.

I had this issue when i was just using PiHole internally with HASSIO as some of the internet connected devices were not able to talk to HASSIO via Internet as PiHole had not yet started after reboot.

Maybe this is something for the feature request section?

I have been having the same issue. My PiHole sensors, as well as some other sensors, are not showing up when I reboot my system.
