Building a video/audio intercom

Hi,
Not sure on where to ask this so ill do it here.
I want to create an Intercom with these features:

  • video feed.
  • 2 way audio (i want to talk with whoever is at the door).
  • a way to open the door.
  • a notification when someone presses the door bell.

My current setup is not “smart” at all but i managed to isolate all the wires that i need to input/short/power to do all the things above.

My question is how can I put it all together in homeassistant?
I’m open for hardware suggestions too, meaning i can replace the current doorbell completely.

I thought about installing an ip camera for the video feed, a Mumble server for the 2 way audio and a RPI for the GPIO. but i would like to be able to control it all from HomeAssistant without switching apps… if possible.
Thanks for any future help

There are many threads about doorbells. The hardest problem is 2 way audio which ha itself doesn’t support natively.

The most sucessful strategy seems be to use a SIP solution.
