Is there a way to have a “helper” just like the switch but a button that I can press to then map to do a thing?

Ya that’s a digital toggle switch though not a button.
Or did I miss something
I was basically looking for the digital equivalent of a momentary push button. Like a “virtual button” in hubitat functions, as opposed to a virtual toggle switch. I wanted to add it to an entity card and use it to start a timer.
Virtual buttons are scripts. Then use the button card to display it in the UI.
How do you use it with a script to make a button
Can I make a list of entities but instead of having a toggle switch on the right just have a circular button?
Use a call-service tap action.
Scripts by nature show an ‘execute’ button when placed into an entities card.
How do I do any of that? And can I somehow get a picture of a power button and make it the button, or like some kinda image?
I suggest you start out by learning what the system does. It seems that you know very little and me just spoon feeding you an answer wont’ help anyone. Start using the sidebar in the docs, check out the script and automation sections. Then take a look at Lovelace (The user interface) section after you learn about that.
