Hi, I have various sensors which show the ‘current’ usage in Watts, which is a variable usage, and changes from moment to moment. So if I have a sensor with an entity of ‘sensor.house_power_power’, which shows current uage in Watts (varies).
How to I create another sensor which shows daily kWh coonsumed by the sensor.house_power_power, and resets daily please?
I tried that, but I couldne get it to reset daily. Do have have any examples please?
You can not reset.
You have to create utility_meters for your needs.
I use the Energy Dashboard, it magically plots the data for individual days or months from sensors that continue to grow - or you can use Utility Meter as Olivier suggests.
