Caldav integration is currently showing calendars as read-only. Having editable options for calendar events would be very convenient.
Yep. Apparently it is sufficient for the vast majority to only read from caldav calendars. Not even node-red has a solution to create/edit/delete generic caldav events. 
This would be great! Anyone has a solution?

I would find this useful too. My current setup uses a Local Calendar within Home Assistant which can be edited by automations, but I would rather host the calendar separately so I could also sync and manually edit it outside of Home Assistant.
