Calling switches from a browser

I have googled etc and it seems I am not looking for the right words but I am wanting to turn on a switch in HA calling it from a browser. Is that possible? I am sure it is but I cant find the links I am looking for

Maybe I’m not understanding your question properly…
But you would just use the lovelace UI for this. How else are you turning on switches?

I am actually calling it from a linux commandline as in wget http://ha.ip/etcetcetc

You’ll find it is quite well documented on the Home Assistant website.
