CallmeBot for Home Assistant is legit

Hi Guys, do anyone of you use the CALLMEBOT ( Whatsapp ) to send you notification via HA to your Whatsapp ?
Is it Legit etc

There is a bit of bait-and-switch going on with Callmebot which drove me away pretty fast. Apart from that $4/year is a lot to pay PER CONTACT for messaging that is not from a real user, and where the bot turns the screws when it decides to cut you out. Bad value and sneaky too.

If you just want notifications, far better to use and support something like Pushover which is just a one off tiny charge for the app.

As far as trustworthiness goes - I just don’t know. A bit of software that does one sneaky thing, may do others (now or later). Consequently the level of trust I have in CallmeBot is zero.
