Camera with battery

I am looking for a wireless camera with battery (for my entry) which is HA compatible (support
RTSP and ONVIF) and not cloud (no subscription and therefore SD card)

Do you have any ideas ???

I’ve searched quite a bit for this and it’s pretty difficult to find. You have to consider that RTSP/ONVIF require enough power that just about the only choices I can find are solar powered and none of them are rated very well.

but what to do if you don’t have a power supply??

moreover I don’t know how to use a solar because it’s a covered entrance

Can you get an ethernet cable run somewhere that is useable? Probably easier than running power.

You could do a POE camera.

I don’t have a suggestion with a battery, but do you have a doorbell with power? If yes, you could do a doorbell camera like the ones from UniFi (or similar, that doesn’t require additional UniFi equipment) and power it with your existing wires for the doorbell (connect to WiFi). You can use it with HA via UniFi Protect or Frigate integrations. I know this is not exactly what you asked for, but it’s closest I can think of.

No, some doorbells are wired in (mine was), in case you have such a doorbell - you can use that to power your camera (doorbell camera).
