Can a python script with a GUI run witjin hassbian?

We have a python script that we want to run on the same rpi that we have hassbian loaded.
Is this even possible?
Ideas?

Should work fine, Hassbian is just Rasbian with HASS pre-installed.

In general this should be possible. Hassbian is Raspbian-based, so you could Google for a tutorial on how to install some Desktop environment. With that done, you can attach a monitor and use GUI applications, or use X-forwarding to run them remotely.
