Can a user have Asleep/Awake status and Home/Away status?

I’m an old Homey user that has always used the Home/away and awake/asleep attributes of a user in there to manage flows and actions. It has been a really good way to do it and I would like to do the same now when I have jumped ship to the HA side.

Is it possible to set variables/states for users in HA? Or how do you recommend otherwise to keep track of individual users states for awake/home ?

There is no builtin support for awake / asleep in HA.

You can define you own sensors / binary_sensors to achieve a similar functionality, ofc.
