We have recently got a Gecko for my son, I have attached a simple smart plug to its Vivarium and I’d like the timings to turn the lights/heat on and off in line with the sunrise and sunset of it’s natural habitat. I live in the UK and a leopard Gecko is from the Iran Afghanistan region, so our summer days and winter nights are considerably longer than it’s natural habitat.
I’d like to know if I can setup the routine for turning on and off his light to use the sunrise/sunset for a different location than my home assistant is set up for? I don’t want to change location as it’ll mess up other routines, I just want this one to act as though it is several thousand kilometres further south than England.
