The title says it all, please advice. I have dozens of wyze sensors in different areas, and it would be nice if I can assign them in areas so it can be synced over google home app. Right now I need to manually put them in rooms in google home.
Yes in the Google assistant integration under entity_confg you can specify room for each device. You need to do it manually once.
Not sure I get what you said? Can you be more specific? I need to define in configuration.yaml file or it’s there somewhere on the UI?
As part of the HA integration “google assistant” located here https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/google_assistant/ you will see that you can link various HA domains. In the Configuration Variables section, you will see a field “entity_config” that lets you assign a room. That room will be transferred to google assistant automatically and can be used in spoken commands etc.
