Can I edit the boot manager on an x86 install? HA won't boot on my Lenovo M72e

Hi,

I’ve spent the whole day trying to install HA OS on an x86 Lenovo M72e Tiny PC. Whatever I try, I just get a no boot os found error. I can boot from a USB install just fine, but if I install to the SSD I consistently get this error.

It seems from this post English Community-Lenovo Community that the PC won’t boot without seeing ‘Windows Boot Manager’ in the boot manager list. Is there a way I (a noob) can edit this to add it in?

Thanks in advance

HA needs UEFi boot, BUT with Secure Boot disabled!!!

Then on the installation web page for HA there is a command to run to set up the UEFI boot, if it fails.

I have it set to UEFI and secure boot disabled but it makes no difference

EDIT - Thank you. I’d missed that section. I’ll try it right now

Did you see the edit with link to the installation page?

Just saw it

Just edited my post!

Edit war! :joy::joy::joy:

I’ve the same issue but i’ve tried to use this command in a Live Ubuntu with no success.
efibootmgr command throws the following error:
“EFI variables are not supported on this system”
Any help?

Always better to make a new topic.
Replying to old topics limits the number of responses you get and especially for topics that have already been marked as solved.

In your case it looks like the UEFI system is either not enabled or not available.
HA requires UEFI BIOS with SecureBoot disabled.
