Hi:
I’m running a HAOS server and have HA Cloud with Alexa enabled.
I would like to implement a scenario where if I try to arm my ring alarm, alexa will first check the state of my garage door (which is intentionally excluded from the ring alarm aming zones), and prompt something like “The garage door is open, do you still want to arm?”. Or conversely, check after arming is complete and announce “by the way, the garage door is still open”.
Any ideas how to implement either of these?
I actually have multiple sensors on the garage door that can be monitored through ring, smartthings, or myQ/IFTTT
