Can I map HVAC mode manually?

I have 4 underfloor heating thermostats. There are based on Tuya platform.
But the thermostat’ default mode is mapped to ‘cooling’ in HA.
Though they are functional, the UI is confusing in some cases:

You can see that because it’s cooling mode, the circle has “reached” it’s target. I feel it’s turned off at a glance.

I can set the mode to “heating” manually:

But it returns to “cooling” mode once I click the physical panel button. And it will also be resetted after 0 o’clock.

Any idea on how to solve this issue?
I tried to map the mode in “customize” but no luck.

(It’s what google’s Bard told me. I now feel that it is talking nonsense.
