I have got a new Home Assistant Green a few days ago. During my first attempts to install different Add-Ons the system could not boot. I have tried to reset it. But it didn’t work. I have connected a display to HDMI. dmesg produced some errors, that the system could not read 1st and 2nd block in my mmcblk (eMMC) device.
I decided to download the new image, put it on the micro-SD card and re-install the OS. Apparently it should work. But it runs for around 1 hour without any changes. The last messages were:
haos-flash[326]: Getting latest Home Assistant OS version from channel stable...
haos-flash[326]: Installing Home Assistant OS 16.3 to mmcblk0.
I have downloaded this file from GitHub: green-installer-20240410.img. It’s only around 73MB. Is it the correct file?
I am just nor sure, if my eMMC is healthy or maybe corrupt.
Ctrl+Alt+F2 on the keyboard does not work to use dimes or top for the progress.
After a 1-2 hours I have got these messages:
haos-flash[332]: curl: (18) transfer closed with 294917064 bytes remaining to read
Alternative GPT is invalid, using primary GPT.
mmcblk0: p1 p2 p3 p4 p5 p6 p7 p8
