Can’t control Danalock v3 HA 0.71 (Z-Wave)

Hi all,

I’m new to HA. It’s been many years that i have been away from the hole open source world - but i managed to setup a Intel Nuc with Ubuntu, for video surveillance with Unifi video + Unifi Network management. On top Docker - with a GUI and here i installed HA, normally been using Samsung Smartthings - so from a very easy world going into a more hardcore world. :slight_smile:

I have setup HA to run in Docker, with my Z-stick gen5 with security key etc etc - it speaks fine with Fibaro motion sensors etc.

My problem is that my Danalock V3 is not working with version 0.71 of HA.

It has found the Lock, but its always showing up as READY and not sleeping, firmware on the Danalock is 0.8.2 = the newest one.

I did add the lock from within the Gui of HA - selecting ADD NODE secure, 10 cm’s from HA.

Its funny to see how many that has had issues, but i don’t know what to do from here, my skills does not allow me any further currently, so i’m hoping some HA expert in here has a next step to try.

In the logs i can see HA sends commands to the lock but nothing happens.

Does the Docker image have all of the needed openZwave stuff? I did se some adding a speciel .xml file for the lock to work, but is that needed in the new HA 0.71 or when running in Docker?

I just added a Danalock v3 to HA as well on 0.71. Should it be showing up as Sleeping? For me it shows as Ready.

Control of the lock through Zwave works fine, but it shows up as Unknown Node 9.

I have also danalock in status Ready, but I do not know how to lock or unlock the door,
Should I write some entity_registry ? or how is it working ? I am new in HA.

Here is my output from Danalock, if I click on lock door,

Then I see in my zwave Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU, but is not locking nothing.
