Can this be done with tasmota?

i found a video of what i want to do:

basicly i want the ws2812b to turn on with a wipe effect and stay on until some mqtt command tell it to do something else.

i tried using counter1 to turn on led but it was too slow.
any way you can think of?
i really want to do it with tasmota.
