There is a cloning tool within Raspien that Debian doesn’t seam to have that I use to clone the drive that HA is installed on that way I have a backup that can be replaced fast of the drive fails. However HA says Raspbian is an unsupported version.
Seams like everything works fine in Raspbian, well all except for the Supervisor store; so it would be nice if Raspbien is also supposed.
Unsupported shouldn’t mean anything except you won’t get “official” support if something goes wrong.
I run an unsupported HA Supervised version as a test platform and it runs fine. Even the supervisor stuff works.
And this FR is moot from the start since the decision was made a long time ago to only support HA Supervised on Debian.
And if you run anything anything at all, outside of the Supervisor control then you will be unsupported as well regardless of the OS.
