I am in the process of replacing a 20+ year old alarm system and found a “good deal” on an IQ 4 panel.
Existing wireless sensors will work with the IQ 4 panel but my wired smoke and co will not.
The First Alert z-wave smoke/co combo for less than half the price of purchasing individual smoke and co detectors.
Unfortunately IQ 4 panel will allow third party z-wave devices for only automation.
So the question is will the First Alert z-wave smoke/co combo integrate with Home Assistant and can Home Assistant initiate an alarm condition on the IQ 4 if the the First Alert z-wave smoke/co combo is triggered?
