I tried a few of those yes. I am going to grab it now and move it to a place with a monitor as suggested by Edwin_D to see if I can get anything usefull on screen.
try looking in the admin page of your router to see if it has grabbed a new IP, then try that IP:8123/. Still wouldn’t explain why homeassistant.local doesn’t work but its worth a try.
Connecting to HA is always via a remote system/URL, how did you do it in the first place?!
A basic test can be to ping command to what you think is the right address so ‘ping 192.168.1.125’ should give you a reply from that address.
If it cannot be reached, you will get a reply with the address from the system you are pinging from with a ‘Destination host unreachable’
Connecting to the IP address should always work, IF the address is correct AND your HA is OK.
‘homeassistant.local’ can sometimes fail due to other issues.
