Cannot access HA externally from duckdns address

Hello,

I have been using and enjoying the best home automation system, “Home Assistant” for a few years with a minimal difficulties. (with the help of awesome members of this community). literally, I was able to find answers to all the issues I had encountered here.
But today I am facing a new one which I cannot figure out. If this has been addressed in any thread, I would really appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

AT&T recently swapped my old router “Pace 5268ac” with their latest “BGW320-505” and since then i was not able to access my Home Assistant instance from the external URL (duckdns).

I configured the new router BGW320 with the same setup as I had with Pace 8268ac.

  • Specific IP assignment for the homeassistant (same as earlier)
  • Port forwarding for 8123 and 443
  • As, I received a new static IP, duckdns updated (just in case)

I can access HA with the ipaddress and a certificate error while i am connected to my home network but it does not work with the duckdns address.

Thanks in advance and any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

if you need anymore info, please let me know.

There have been some recent problems with duckdns domains resolving properly.
