Have been running hass.io for a while now, decided to move the system to a new network. After bringing it up I cannot access it anymore, ie: 8123 or 3218 with either Chrome or IE. Have tried with direct IP addresses but it returns with connection refused.
Now I can ssh/putty to it on port 22222 and get a login prompt so it’s there and alive. Trying root as the user just terminates the session with “no supported authorization method” message.
I moved it back to the original network and have the same issue. Would rather not reinstall if I don’t have to, Thoughts?
Hi, thanks for that info, it’s helpful as I’ve never directly ssh’d in directly from a terminal. However any idea why it would just quit responding over the web interface? Regs, Tom
I had the same issue…however my instance started to act weird so I rebooted and on reboot it never came back up. Was able to ping it, but no ssh or web access. I ended reinstalling on new micro SD card (thinking I had a bad card) and got a clean install to work…however I lost my Aeotec Z-wave stick…it is no longer creating a /dev/ttyA* entry. I wonder if there was a docker upgrade that screwed things up.
I did get my config files from the old SD card by using DiskInternal Linux Read for windows.
you know I have an Aeotec Z-Wave stick too hmmm. Well I’m gonna throw in the towel and do a reinstall. Fortunately I have saved all of the config files so it should be too painful.
