Cannot Access hassio.local

I am running Hass.io v0.55.2 on a RPi 3, and trying to access it on Mac OS X v10.11.6.

I recently moved, and had to tear down my network and stand it up again, and ever since, I have not been able to access the smb://hassio.local.

This worked just fine prior to the move.

I am able to login to the Hass.io web interface, and SSH in to the RPi, but I get the following error message when trying to access smb://hassio.local:

There was a problem connecting to the server “hassio.local”. Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to troubleshoot this issue. Can anyone give me guidance on figuring this out?

Just giving this a bump, because I’m really struggling and could use any help you can provide.

@DRoyLenz .local names are often problematic with some ISP-provided routers that don’t have a proper DNS server.

If you changed router when moving that might be your problem.

@DRoyLenz did you get this sorted out? I have the same issue and this is causing problems with some addons.
