This is my first attempt at a Z-wave project. I have googled and experimented for hours, and I’m getting nowhere.
I bought a GoControl WD500Z5-1 Dimmer and installed it today. It works fine manually. I am running Hasspian with an Aeotec Z-Stick S2. When I click ADD NODE in the Z-Wave manager and follow the instructions for adding the dimmer to the network, nothing happens. I have been able to add it to the network by clicking on the stick directly and following the directions. But even in those circumstances, I am unable to control the light. It has status “Dead (Probe)” or “Dead (protocolinfo)”. I’d be grateful for any help. I’d be glad to share any logs that would help.
