Cannot connect tablet using Android Debug Bridge integration

I would like to send adb commands to my android tablet via wifi using home assistant. How can I do this?

I tried the Android Debug Bridge integration:

However, I cannot connect to my tablet using this integration. It always says “Connection failed”. Maybe, this is only for android tv devices?

So, how can I send adb commands to my android tablet from home assistant?

Is ADB enabled on the tablet?

Yes, of course. Adb is enabled for usb and wifi. From my windows pc, I can send usb commands via usb.

Will I have to pair the tablet and home assistant first somehow, maybe?

I’ve only done this with a TV, but the TV had no connection with HA other than being on the same network.
