Cannot connect with latest version of iOS App

I updated the iOS app today and now it will not connect. I have tried removing and reinstalling it, but on startup I get the Welcome to Home Assistant Companion screen, and then the URL Unavailable box flashes up very rapidly several times. The box does not stay on the screen, so it’s impossible to enter a URL.
I have tried turning off Wi-Fi and also turning on flight mode, but no luck. Also, the internal and external URLs are set correctly in HA (version 111.4).
Any ideas?

I managed to capture a screenshot of the error - it says “Expected to have an external URL but none available” Please enter the URL. App will exit after entry, please reopen"
However, once I switch back to the app the pop-up disappears so I can’t enter the URL.
