Cannot find user-id string for autologin

Hello,

I am on HA 2026.2.3 . I have setup a user to be used for auto-login on a dashboard I am creating that will be in the kitchen.

When I go to “Settings > People” and click on the user I created, I cannot find the user-id “string” (as opposed to the username). Everything I have read by Googling it says it should be there when I click on the user, but I just can’t see where it is.

people isnt necesary a user. So go to users tab, there all names are users and have userame

Where do I find the “Users” tab? Under “Settings”, there is none (just “People”). When I go under “People”, there is also no “Users” tab; just an option to “Add a Person”.

Nevermind; figured it out. I needed to have “Advanced Mode” enabled in the profile of the admin user i am logged in with.
