Cannot get HAOS to recognize Coral USB TPU

Ok so previously I posted about how I couldn’t get Frigate to work to save the life of me. Well, figured out that it was looking for my Coral TPU. Previously it work fine, but then one day, seemingly out of the blue, the Intel NUC that I have HAOS installed on, just stopped recognizing the Coral. So that’s what messed up my Frigate.

But now, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the computer to recognize it again. I’ve changed the cable, I’ve used USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C cables, I’m ensuring that it’s in a powered USB port (the same one it previously worked on). I’ve restarted the NUC 100 times. The Coral still lights up and heats up.

I wouldn’t even know the first process to get some logs or info for anyone to help me, I apologize for that. I just know that the NUC can’t see the USB Coral for whatever reason and I don’t feel like I changed anything on the system.

Try it in your desktop machine

So just plug it in and do what with it?

I also forgot to mention that for some reason my NUC/HAOS is not recognizing my Bluetooth antenna either. So the only 2 out of 6 USB ports it’ll recognize are the zigbee and zwave dongles

Okay, then remove all the USB sticks and test one at a time in port that does seem to work.
If all sticks work, then check one stick that works in all the ports.

I’ve done all that. I’ve tested every device in every port. The NUC/HAOS will only recognize the Zigbee and the Zwave dongles, regardless of which port they are in.

The NUC/HAOS will not detect the Bluetooth antenna nor the Coral, regardless of which port they are in, nor whether the other dongles are plugged in. Basically meaning, I’ve tried every combination there is. In every scenario, the Zigbee and ZWave’s work, while the BT and Coral do not.

Test those two in another computer.
If they are dead there then they are probably dead everywhere.
