Cannot get trigger state from smoke detector

Hi everyone,

I would like to use my fire alarm/smoke detector (that I specially bought because of zigbee and supported integration in zigbee2mqtt)

Here is the link of it:

It has been detected and succesfully added to my zigbee2mqtt plugin.

I added in my homeassistant homepage all the integrations (sensors, switch, etc…)
And i tested a manual trigger of the alarm (through the switch button) and it works nicely. (I can ring it and set it off to test)

The problem is that all the sensors seems to be set as “Unknown”.
Because of that I can’t detect when a fire starts in my house and I can’t trigger any automated scene.

I don’t understand why it doesn’t work because a lot of people are saying it’s a nice product and it works well in their case.

I searched already on many forums and it seems the problem could be located in device.js (except I don’t have any file named like that in my folders).

Any help would be great !

Thanks.

What do you see in MQTT regarding that device?

Hi, this is what I see in MQTT:

This is what my cardboard is displaying:
smokedetector_cardboard

There was an update available 5 hours after my post. I did the update but it doesn’t change anything it still Unknown (inconnu) and doesn’t detect when I trigger it with switch.

The issue is also that the battery still always at 100%

But there is good news, when I press on my smokedetector the test signal is successfully received:

Do you think I should put smoke underneath my detector to see if the main sensor is working ?

ÉDIT: I did a manual smoke situation the trigger sent a successfull signal to home assistant.

So this post is solved, it does work except the battery is still 100% which is not the real situation.
