Cannot mount SMB Share for Backup from Synology

Hi There.

new to HA, thinking about migrating to HA from iobroker.
Having some trouble with mounting a SMB Folder from my Synology.
Created a user and also a shared folder. Assigned R/W permissions to the share for that user.
SMB is set to minimum SMBv2 and Max SMBv3
Still, I cannot connect.
After trying to connect I get:
Mounting Nas2 did not succeed. Check host logs for errors from mount or systemd unit mnt-data-supervisor-mounts-Nas2.mount for details.

Host log shows only:

2024-05-07 15:37:03.593 homeassistant systemd[1]: Mounting Supervisor cifs mount: Nas2...
2024-05-07 15:37:03.596 homeassistant kernel: CIFS: Attempting to mount //192.168.119.110/homeassist

2024-05-07 15:37:33.651 homeassistant systemd[1]: Unmounted Supervisor cifs mount: Nas2.

I simply don’t understand what the problem might be.
Any help is highly appreciated

thanks

Hi,
Did you confirm successful connection to this new shared folder with the new credentials from other remote systems like a windows, linux, mac?
