Cannot reach HA for onboarding after installation

Hi
I finally decided to go for a HA and I have tried to install it on two different old PC that I allready had. The first one was to old, no UEFI. The second one was better but still didn’t work so I decided to buy a used mini PC (NUC) with HA preinstalled and everything looks fine when I boot it up.

When I try to continue with the onboarding process then I get stuck. I am not able to open the the HA webpage with the name nor with the IP adress. Cannot open the pages is shown. I have tried two different browser on my iMac, two different browser from a PC and both browser and the app from my iPhone. No success…
I can however open xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4357 and a page with the text ”Home Assistant Observer” and some more text is shown.

Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?

It’s almost five hours now since I first started it up.

So you do say :4357 to Observer. Are you using :8123 for the main page? Just checking.

http://192.168.100.243:8123

?

Your browser must be pointed to the unsecure http instead of https as @francisp has demonstarted. Your browser will give you a choice to go back or proceed with an exception for the address:port

Yes, that is what I do.

I have tried both http://192.168.100.243:8123 and https://192.168.100.243:8123 and none of them works.

Thanks a lot for all support! The problem is now solved. I do not know what was wrong, but I re installed HAOS and then everything looks fine.
