I had the same issue on my Rpi 3 and my fix was to upgrade the firmware (using sudo rpi-update
) from 4.19.14 to 4.9.16. Not this only works if you’re running Raspbian. See https://github.com/Hexxeh/rpi-update
I had the same issue after my home-assistant_v2.db file got corrupted. I deleted it and rebooted my HASS service and the property ‘v’ problem came up. I rebooted my Pi and everything seems fine for now.
Running Hassbian 0.40.0.
Same issue here - upgrade RPI & reboot cannot fix the issue
+1 I’m running on macOS in Docker.
version 0.40.2
Same issue here. Currently running 40.2 on Docker on a Synology NAS. Goes away after restart and then reappears. It seems to happen when the sensor has not been updated in over a day.
Here’s my phone:
And my wife’s phone:
Have same problem. Same issue on windows and rpi with hassbian image. Have Tellstick duo
+1
Have the same issue when trying to access the history for my sonos
Since I have automations running only if Sonos is paused for 30min, they all now run all the time…
Same issue here… looks like its only started happening recently due to an upgrade.
I upgraded to .42 last night and restarted. I’m not seeing this issue anymore but I’ll keep an eye on it and report back if it returns.
Any luck on this? I still get it frequently even after deleting the DB, restarting HA and restarting my computer.
I had the same isue, i solved with changing SQllite( the default database) with MySQL and now everything is working like a charm
I guess I will check into this. I have stayed away as many seem to have had difficulties in switching.
It’s not so hard to do it and the benefits are alot

…and thas it
Thanks, I will check it out. Do you think the steps are the same for a non-raspberry? I run Ubuntu 16.04 on a G6 server.
It shoud be, but why are you running on so powerful mashine?
Came across it very cheaply. I use it to run ZoneMinder with 10 cameras as well. Still waiting to see if there is anything else to add to it. If I don’t find anything I may step down to just a dedicated PC/laptop.
I am getting this same error message in a couple of my motion sensors.
Same error since 0.50
I´m having the same issue here, on version 0.50.2.
I´ve noticed it only happens when I try to use Owntracks and GPSLogger, Router device_tracker works fine.
Cheers
Hello everyone!
I am quite new at everything here (rpi, linux, homeassistant), but learning fast…
I have the same issue (cannot read property ‘v’ of undefined). Now i have updated to 0.51.2 and it is the same. It appears at the states, which are not changing states for some time. For example i have some binary statuses from my PLC (via modbus TCP) that are the same for some time (example: PLC_battery_OK)…
I am running RPi 3 with hassbian on it.
Best regards,
Blaz
