I’ve been working with input booleans to enable/disable flows for all of my automations for the whole time I’ve had them (years). I’ve now seen that there is the option to expose them to HA as switches which is awesome. However, I cannot find any checkbox in any of my nodes to do this. I’ve checked my config but can’t see anything obvious. How to I get the checkbox please?
Then I followed this, " 1. In the Home Assistant UI go to “Configuration” -> “Integrations” click “+” and search for “Node-RED”, but cannot see Node-RED…
Hi Matt - how do you disable a flow or rather send down a different direction? I see you mentioned you have done this for many years. I have lights after 10 PM come on at 1% and red but sometimes I want them to be “normal” daytime mode. I have an input boolean that I call to Alexa and change it to on and it goes down the other switch currently.
Was curious how you managed it without creating an input_boolean in HA and used the expose to HA function in NR.
Cheers & thank you.
Hi, I’m afraid I ditched NR a couple of years ago, when HA improved the stock automation capabilities. I simply can’t remember what I did/how I did it I’m afraid. Good luck though!
