Hi. I’m trying to install Hassio OS in my virtual machine. Once after installing it I don’t get the ip for enp2s1. What should I do?
(I already tried connecting homeassistant.local and homeassistant.local:8123 but failed to connect all 2)
Your virtual machine have a network configuration that is wrong.
And what should i do? Can anything be done?
Read the documentation for your hypervisor on how to configure the network for your virtual machine.
I changed hypervisor form VMware to Hyper-V and i followed the documentation and now it shows the ipv4 ip adress for enp2s1. Thank you so much for helping me!
Good, just be aware that hyper-v can be quite a bit tricky when it comes to connecting USB devices to it.
