Cannot update Homeassistant Core blocked from execution, no host internet connection?

Hi,

I discovered that since running the adguard home addon (and having hassio/adguard configured as DNS in my fritzbox router), I often cannot upgrade homeassistant core, telling:

 Logger: homeassistant.components.hassio
Source: components/hassio/websocket_api.py:109
Integration: Home Assistant Supervisor (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 4:14:15 AM (2 occurrences)
Last logged: 4:21:35 AM
Failed to to call /core/update - 'HomeAssistantCore.update' blocked from execution, no host internet connection

Does anybody have the same problem, or knows how to solve it?

It’s only a guess that there might be a connection to adguard with this issue.
Because before I never had this problem.

But how can I certainly be sure what the problem is here?
How can I actually update if homeassistant thinks there is no connection (in fact there are NO internet connection problems!)

I’m using the same setup, with nginx on top of it. I’m having the same error lately.

Restarting the supervisor and/or disable protection in Adguard Home seems to get the internet going again…

Have you found out what is causing the problem?

Unfortunately not. Sometimes full installation seems to be broken after a failed update as above, and only restarting 5-10x recovers it…

I just had the same issue. I changed the HA DNS (which was my router IP) to the Google DNS (8.8.8.8). That fixed everything.
