I am finding it impossible to login from Safari using external URL since I’ve upgraded to iOS 26 and MacOS 26. I just get an ‘Unable to connect to Home Assistant’ screen.
This still works find with the internal URL.
This is the same whether device is on the internal network or not.
I am using Cloudflare tunnel to provide the external URL and it’s been working fine for ages.
It still works fine for Firefox and Chrome.
Is anyone else seeing this ?
Any ideas where to look for errors?
I tried the “purge cache” suggested by @IzSmithh but still not working. looking at the console it seems to be related to the websocket. Error: WebSocket connection to ‘wss://mydomain/api/websocket’ failed: The network connection was lost. as above works fine on firefox and chrome.
EDIT: took a few minutes but its working now. (i can be impatient)
On my local network homeassistant.local is not working post MacOS 26 in Duck Duck Go, Chrome, Firefox browser apps, but working in Safari? Cleared caches etc still nothing. Working DDG if I use local IP address though but not C and FF. Wondering if I wait for app updates or if this is a new feature?
