Can't access homeassistant:8123

hi guy, i’m a complete noob in the HA world.
i have jut created my VM on Windows and it look like the server is up and running but i cannot access the http://homeassistant.local:8123 link, i have also tried http://homeassistant:8123 and the actual IP address of the VM.

i can access http://homeassistant.local:4357

i have tried telnet-ing the 8123 port with no luck
i have also tried all the relevant ha core commands with no luck

any idea?

Have a look in your router if you see home assistant there.

In the console, login with root and try:

ha> network info

Check under interfaces if there is any active interface with a correct IP address.
