Can't activate Last Notification sensor in Companion app

If I press any of the Notification sensor toggles in the Companion App settings it takes me to the Android Device and App Notifications settings screen, with no options to create an allow list. When I close the Android page the toggle goes back to disabled.

Are there any alternative ways of setting the Last Notification sensor to enabled? I’ve tried in the HA settings but just get a notification telling me I have to activate the setting in the app as well.

Phone is a Pixel 7 with Android 14.

Can you describe the “Android page”?

The allow list settings are at the bottom of the Last Notification Sensor’s page. Try setting the allow list before you toggle the sensor’s enable switch.

You don’t set the allow list there. You first need to grant the app special permissions before you can set it. On that screen you should see a list of apps and you need to allow it for home assistant.

Thank you! HA was in the not allowed list so I’ve changed that and can now enable the sensor.

But… I don’t see any options for an allow list

UPDATE: I can see them now. Just needed to wait for the list of apps to load in the sensor.
