Can't add Eve Flare to HA. Works in HomeKit

Hi,

I’ve successfully added my Eve Flare to HomeKit. I can’t seem to figure out how to add it to HA. I keep seeing that I should enter the Eve Flare in pairing mode in Apple Home Kit and get a code, but there is no such button. It doesn’t show up on Matter eiter and i’ve tried every possible way to add it through Matter in HA.

What to do?

Did you remove it from HomeKit first? It can not be paired to both.

I was too fast. It showed up, entered the code, but then failed. Now I can’t repair.

I’ve been trying to add it again, but it doesn’t show up when in HA anymore. Do I need to add it to Apple HomeKit, then unpair it for it to show up in HA?

It doesn’t show up in HA if i put it in pairing mode. It feels super random everytime I try to add it to HomeKit as well.

I bet it’s going to sleep on you - it is battery powered. Put it on the charging puck and turn it on. Pair to HomeKit then remove from Homekit and immediately it will show up in Homeassistant and you can pair.

I finally got it to work. I don’t really know how as it feels super random, but it’s now connected :slight_smile:
