Can't add sonoff SNZB-01 to SkyConnect

Hi,

I’m trying to get started with Zigbee on my RPI4 based HA system.

I purchased and installed a SkyConnect dongle(with extension) in HA and configured the ZHA integration. Everything went as I expected.

I next tried to add a Sonoff SNZB-01 switch to HA. When I try to add it with the ‘add devices’ button in ZHA it never sees the device. I am putting the Sonoff into pairing mode but nothing shows up.

I’m confused because most of the posts I can find reference HACS and a eWeLink integration. I don’t think this is still required but I’m not sure. Can some kind sole give me a few clues to get me moving forward again?

I have the same issue. Has anyone attempted to use these devices via SkyConnect as yet?

I managed to add the Sonoff SNZB-01 (button) and SNZB-02 (Temperature sensor) to HA using the SkyConnect. For the Button, I can see battery, but can’t seem to get the push to work (will debug further). For the temperature sensor I get humidity and temperature readings just fine.
