Can't configure WIFI

Just installed HA on a S12 Pro N100. Got it up and running, created an account and it is plugged in via Ethernet.

However trying to configure WIFI (do I even need to?) it fails. I have tried in the UI and connecting to a K/M and via the command line.

When I search for the network in HA I can see my SSID. Signal strength is 100. I choose WPA-PSK and use the password. The hit save.

Then it says "Failed to change network settings

Activating connection failed, check connection settings."

When I tried doing this manually using this
Command: network update WIRELESSINTERFACENAMEHERE --ipv4-method auto --ipv6-method auto --wifi-auth wpa-psk --wifi-mode infrastructure --wifi-ssid WIFI-NAME --wifi-psk WIFI-PASSWORD

The image shows the errors

Do I even need to use wifi if this will always be in Ethernet?
I figure I do need it as I can’t connect to the server in the iOS app and I cant connect to the SMLIGHT SLZB-06 device either and before I go to far want to get this fixed.

Thanks

Nope, don’t need it and no reason to set it up. Ethernet is strongly recommended over WiFi for something like Home Assistant.
