Can't connect through Android Home Assistant app

Hi everyone,

I have my Home Assistant app for Android, but it refuses to connect. I’ve tried the IP address of the RPi, the hassio.local address, and the remote connection link received when I set up Home Assistant Cloud.

Is there a different address I should be using?

When you entered the IP address of the pi, did you do it like this?

http://192.168.1.200:8123/

Thanks, that was it! Funny enough, when I tried this morning it automatically discovered it.

Question, is there a way to improve the connection quality? Either through the Home Assistant Cloud directly or via the App, it is really slow. Sometimes get a can’t connect error. My wireless bandwidth is only about 60% utilised. My WiFi connection is full bars.

And, why can I not load any addon web ui’s? I can load anything in the sidebar, but any time I have to go into an addon and launch the web ui, it tries to load for a few minutes then times out.

I don’t know to be honest, I never had any connection issues.
