Hi, my name is Patrick … and I’m an up-and-coming home assistant enthusiast. I am a newby, and definitely would say I’m more comfortable on the automation side once connected to the home assistant ui, then working with the network side itself. I chose to install Ubuntu onto an old machine, and installed HA onto the machine. I recall having issues getting the ipv4 address … but eventually got everything working and began to play with the interface to add and play with my devices (and automations).
However … I have lost access to the homeassistant.local:8123 URL, and when I do a command line ‘net info’ check, I no longer see an ipv4 url.
Are you able to provide me any guidance or direction? I did try to do a ‘core restart’ through the HA command line … but I still am unable to connect back to HA.
Thoughts?
Patrick
