Can't Connect to Main Page

Hey everyone,

I’m hoping you can help me solve this. I installed home assistant last night on my Raspberry PI. When I first set it up I can use the hassio.local:8123 to log in and set things up. I then set up the configurator so I can update the files from the web. Still at this point there is no problem.

Once I reboot I can no longer use hassio.local:8123 to get into the main homepage. However, I can still use hassio.local:3218 to log into the configurator and make changes to the files.

I’ve wiped and reinstalled and run into the same problem at the exact same point. Has anyone else experience this or know of a way to solve it. I’m also using Google Wifi with the device plugged into the router through ethernet.

Can you connect to http:[HA_IP_ADDRESS_HERE]:8123 ?

Have you installed the duckdns addon?

Have you reserved a DHCP ip address or set a static ip address for your raspberry pi?

Yeah I tried just using the internal IP and that didn’t work. I have it the static IP of 192.169.86.30.

It’s weird to me the local address and port works for the configurator but as soon as I’m done with setup it doesn’t work for home…
