Hello all,
I’m trying to pair a button and I’m a bit lost because I can’t set it to pairing mode.
The button is this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006292590402.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2bra
I’m running Zigbee2MQTT with a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2 running firmware 7.4.3.
My goal is to use the button to set some actions.
I would appreciate any advice, thank you.
You are linking to a device that is advertised with Wifi and 433MHz connectivity as far as I can see, not Zigbee.

Hi, thanks for replying.
Does this mean I can connect to my wifi network or can it only connect to a specific device?
If it’s a wifi device you connect it to your wifi. Zigbee and wifi are not the same.
To make your life easier, check compatibility before buying:
Database of Zigbee devices compatible with ZHA, Tasmota, Zigbee2MQTT, deCONZ, ZiGate and ioBroker
Ex: IKEA Tradfri Shortcut Button (White) E1812 Zigbee compatibility
Tuya Smart Button IH-K663 Zigbee compatibility
SmartThings Button IM6001-BTP01 Zigbee compatibility
Wifi/Tamsota:
Or Google search model number + home assistant.
Your switch will respond to 433mhz signal.
The button transmits 433mhz
One option would be to use a 433Mhz emitter/receiver like the Sonoff RF bridge. Some hacking involved.
